Faculty and Staff: Log in to shorten your links!

Before you shorten…

• Note that after a short link is deleted, it cannot be re-created in the link shortener. For security reasons, these URLs are actually only deactivated. They still exist in the database and new URLs are not allowed to be created with the same short URL path. Please contact Web Support if you are in this situation. 
• If you update one of your old shortened links, it might take an hour or so for the old, cached link to be reflected. This can be an issue if you're immediately sending out a link to campus, so plan ahead.
• Student employees: if you need to create short links as part of your employment, please have your supervisor submit a Help Desk ticket for Web Support.
