Y.E.S. 55th Anniversary Reception   

Since 1968, Y.E.S. student leaders have initiated over 70 programs to address community needs, mobilizing Cal Poly Humboldt students to engage with and support local community organizations and schools. Join us in celebrating this rich tradition of community building!

Youth Educational Services invites all current volunteers & student leaders, alums, and community and campus supporters to celebrate its 55th "Emerald" Anniversary for a reception and volunteer project (link to volunteer project registration).

  • Date: Monday, October 2nd (5:00-7:00pm)
  • Location: Cal Poly Humboldt Library (Map & Directions)
  • 5:00pm - Library Fishbowl (Room 209) 
  • 6:00pm - Y.E.S. (Library Ground Floor/Basement, Suite 1)
Details: This celebration will include special guest speaker and YES alumna, Karen Young, drinks and refreshments, reflection, memorabilia, and tours of the new Y.E.S. space!

  • Date: Saturday, October 7th (9:30am-12:30pm)
  • Location: Potawot Community Food Garden, Arcata
  • Details: Upon arrival, learn more about the Potawot Community Food Garden and United Indian Health Services. Gardening projects may include harvesting strawberries, orchard care, mulching, and more!
